by Christina Cilento This summer my family visited Acadia National Park in Maine. My dad woke my sister and me up at 1 a.m. on our last day there to hike to the top of Cadillac Mountain, which is the first spot in the U.S. to see the sunrise. As it turns out, it's a pretty popular tourist spot, mainly populated by the cheaters who drive up the mountain. Either way, it was really awesome to be one of the first fifty people in the country to see the start of a new day.
