PHOTO: Chugach Mountains, Alaska

This photo was taken in the Chugach mountains of south eastern Alaska during the two week backpacking portion of my NOLS course. You can see to the right some snow left over from winter, and through the middle the drainage we drank from. The Chugach mountains are the northernmost mountains of the Pacific Coast Ranges of the western edge of North America.
