The first was taken at a glacial lagoon called Jökulsárlón in Iceland. It is a result of the melting of an outlet glacier of the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull. The lagoon is connected to the Atlantic Ocean, and is getting bigger each year as glacial retreat continues.
